The reason to choose this machine over a straddle stacker is that it works both ways. With the forks extended it behaves like a counterbalanced stacker, so it can handle closed-bottom pallets and non-standard loads that straddle legs would foul. With the forks retracted it becomes compact enough for narrow passages. One truck covers two jobs that would otherwise need two.

It carries 1,400 kg and lifts from 2,500 mm to 5,500 mm depending on mast. Two numbers matter more than the lift height when you are specifying it. Mast lowered height is 1,940 to 2,640 mm, which decides whether it fits through your doorways and under your roller shutters. Mast extended height is 3,552 to 6,552 mm, which decides whether it fits under your ceiling, sprinklers and services at full lift. Check both before you commit.

The safety package is built around the fact that this is a pedestrian machine working near people. Travel speed drops automatically as steering angle increases, there are three braking modes including release, reverse and emergency, it holds on slopes rather than rolling back, and there is an emergency reverse button on the tiller. A soft-landing system slows the forks as they approach the ground so loads are not dropped the last few centimetres.

Underneath, a brushless AC motor and CURTIS control system handle acceleration and climbing, with CANBUS communication and integrated diagnostics.
